Adding images to dynamic content

Apparently it is 'now it is possible to add local images' to the dynamic content. However when I tried it crashed the page and wouldn't alow anymore editing on the page, there is just a box of text saying save or cancel but it won't do either - even after uploading and overwriting the site. I have had to go on server and delete the page manually to remove the problem before uploading the site again.
What are the requirements for the images that can be added successfully?

Well, after clearing everything up on the site to remove the error I reduced the picture to 24bit 28kb jpeg at 500 x 400 pixel and tried again and it works fine. Think the moral is don't just assume it will just take your camera pictures - remember to reduce the image size and then upload. I used the free and portable FSViewer53 to quickly resize the pictures - it will do batches of pictures to speed things up.
