Paypal button in email Not Working  en

I have just been informed that the paypal button is not working in the email sent to a customer. it returns the message The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount. and defaults them back to the website. It appears to work ok from the shopping cart but not in the email.

Hello David,

Can you please write me the link to the website where the paypal link on the email was not working so I make a test order to check it?

I tested it on a new project and the link was working correctly so I need to make a test purchase to get the link from your website to see why it is not working.

Hi Claudio,

I have been doing my own testing and it seems only hotmail, outlook and live accounts are affected. it works perfectly through gmail and personal email accounts. So I can only conclude that the problem is not with the site or the program but with microsofts email service. I have contacted microsoft about the problem and will wait to see what they say
