Hi,

When I send an E-mail message with the E-mail option from my WebsiteX5 site to my regular E-mailadress the received text looks scrambled:

Message-ID: <***s> X-Mailer: WebSiteX5 Mailer MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bitDate: Sat, 14 Feb 2015 15:36:59 +0100 (CET)<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <meta name="generator" content="Incomedia WebSite X5 v11 - www.websitex5.com"> </head> <body bgcolor="#E0E0E0" style="background-color: #E0E0E0;">      <table border="0" cellpadding="0" align="center" cellspacing="0" style="padding: 0; margin: 0 auto; width: 700px;">

Etc etc.

Is this somthing I can adapt in the settings of WebsiteX5, or is this something for my Webhost to change in his settings? Or even in my Outlook settings?

Thanx in advance for thinking with me.

Rgds

your email box only accepts text and not html format.

go to general setting>template style>E-mail style> and change all the email layout color to transparet.

go to advance setting>data managment> and from "Email form script type" choose "low-level script". then upload your entire website and try your form.

Hi Anthony,

Thnx for your reply.

It helped me for 95%, but put me on the right track.

The 100% solution was to change the settings in data management to "PHP mailer" in stead of the "standard script".

Even the Lay-out color can be used now.

Thnx a lot!

That was in the new update, so yes, and your mailbox supports html.
