Paypal can't find Cancellation Page or Confirmation Page after payment  en

I've installed a shopping cart in X5 professional v.11 on my website www.booksforlife.today. I've created a Payment Confirmation Page and a Payment Error Page and I have registered them in the Shopping Cart\Order Managment\Payment Type\Type dialog. When I start to pay for a purchase from my personal Paypal account (not my business Paypal account registered for the web site) and I then cancel the payment in the Paypal web page before paying, an error message appears saying that the (cancel) page cannot be found on the server. Like this...

The requested URL /error-in-ordering-process.html was not found on this server.

Apache Server at www.anastasis.co.uk Port 80

The Paypal web page cancel link says, "Cancel and return to Anastasis Ltd". The web site is hosted in a subfolder of www.anastasis.co.uk. Anastasis Ltd is my company name which is associated with my web site's Paypal account.

Similarly if I go ahead and make a payment, then instead of returning me to the Payment Confirmation Page after payment I get a similar kind of error message.

Can you explain what the problem is?

Is the X5 software is sending local paths to Paypal when it should be sending absolute paths? If so, can it be fixed please?

Or if a missing .htaccess file that another user mentioned is the problem, where can I obtain one?

Hello Arnold,

You need to change the URL you entered in step 1 from www.anastasis.co.uk to www.booksforlife.today otherwise the it will search the page on www.anastasis.co.uk instead of on www.booksforlife.today and sicne there the page doesn't exists you get the error.

Once changed the URL export the project again online and then it will work correctly.

Many thanks!
