Hidden page?  en

When you designate a page as "hidden", it won't appear on the general site map associated with the website, but will be included in the sitemap that is uploaded to Google?

We can still link to the hidden page from the created website, but in order to keep it partially hidden, can I use a editor to add it to the footer menu at the bottom of a page and/or include it in the general site map?

I'm just afraid that the attitude Google has with totally hidden items in the website, they may penalize the site, is this a correct way of thinking when dealing twith Google?

Google will not penalize a site cause of a hidden page, there are multiple uses for that on the internet and it is common to use it,so no problem there.

In step 2 on the hidden page use the properties button, then goto expert tab, there you can set if You want the page in the sitemap. Standard is on, so google will see it and index it even if it does not show up in the menu or footer.

If you set it as hidden then it will be hidden on all the items that x5 uses for showing the menu (footer and general sitemap)

Yes you can edit manully the sitemap and the footer, but this requeres some knowladge and with every upload / change you need to manually correct the footer and general sitemap again, (and upload it seperatly after you updated x5) it's a lot of work. But why do you not want it in the menu but in the footer menu and general sitemap ? It makes no sense because these are shorts for your main menu.
