Plans to introduce Responsive design in X5?
Author: Mary D.I need to know if the facility to produce fluid responsive websites is going to soon be available. I've read all the posts on this subject but other than it definitely can't be done, there is nothing indicated that it's coming down the pipeline shortly. I'm on the verge of quitting using X5 and moving to Wordpress. If I do, I won't return to this program. Surely a definite explanation from Incomedia about their plans (if any) on this is needed for their customers. Sadly this program is being left behind and no-one is producing unresponsive websites any more, customers are demanding it. Surely media queries could be implemented somehow??? If you are working on this, please keep your customers informed. Please don't reply with excuses, it's a wonderful program but you must let us know when to expect this feature.
Hi Mary,
I have to agree with you, I have been using X5 for a few years now and have seen dozens of requests for responsive web pages. Unfortunately Incomedia seem to take the bury your head in the sand and pretend it’s not happening approach when it comes to listening to people, and many suggestions go unheard or only brought out as new versions and not as updates.
Thanks
David Wilson

Digital marketing consultants view analytics data from many websites in various industries. It is rare that we don’t see at least 30% of all traffic coming from mobile devices, and usually it’s closer to 50%.

Thanks guys, what prompted my post was that I've received emails from Google about a number of sites I manage stating quite categorically that they are not mobile standard and will lose ranking as they all fail their Mobile-Friendly test. Sad that this program with such potential is going backwards! I'm hanging in here but Wordpress is becoming more attractive and my clients are asking to transfer over. Hard to argue really as Google analytics info on my sites is showing access via mobile devices is growing rapidly. This needs to be put to the top of the agenda with Incomedia. Wake up Incomedia please listen to your customers and have the business sense to keep us informed of your plans to address this (if any??)...
Incomedia works in military industry and don't provide any info.
