Email form lineshift

I have a problem with the email form.
I have a textfield, and when I send text ex. :
line 1
line 2
line 3
It appears as line1 line 2 line 3.
The characterset is OK and the mails from the webshop HAVE their lineshifts - so -
why is the lineshifts ( carriage return ) removed in the email i receive from the email form ?

The email you receive is showing the content without the formatting used but only the content entered and it's why it appears all on one line.

This is not very userfriendly/readable, but as I understand You, this is how it works.
But why are You removing the lineshift's ?

the program adapts the content by removing unecessary formatting so the content can be displayed with every script type present and to adapt it for the CSV file which can be created.
