I am just a little furious. I have an old project made in Website X5 8 and would like to open it in Website X5 10. Accoridng to instruction on answers I have sent a messege to *** with ask for making conversion of my old project. I have received answer: technical support for Website 8 is closed. It is no technical support, I think but only allowing me to work with my project on system I bought. It is not my fault that software producer didn't attach working with old projects in new version of program.

I am just dissapointed and waiting for information from Incomedia. Nicelyyou careaboutclients...

Hello Andrzej,

thank you for contacting us.

As stated in the following post https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/101940 we do not offer support for WebSite X5 Evolution 8 anymore.
If I may, I suggest you either ask our community for help ( some of our users do offer this kind of support) or you open both WebSite X5 Evolution 8 and WebSite X5 Evolution 10 on the same computer then copy-paste text and images from one project to the other. This will give you the chance to update your project as you go with the new WebSite X5 Evolution 10 functions.
I hope this helps,

Samantha

Hello,

Maybe it would be easy and more convinient for me but I talked with the consumerrights advocate today and according to his opinion it is no support for Website X5 8 but backwardcompatibility of my projects.

So I suggest to check it one more time and let me know details.

Other fact is my opinion about your company - it goes lower very fast. If you don't care about your users and customers so they go somewhere else, especially that in Poland we have nice program Pajaczek...

Hello Andrzej,

thank you for your answer.
I'm sorry but as stated in my previous post, I can not help you convert the project you have created with your WebSiteX 5 Evolution 8 version of the program.

If you wish to proceed, please follow the instructions I suggested previously. Have a look at this post for example https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/119904

We do care for our users but unfortunately I can not help you with this.
Thank you,

Samantha

Hi

there are a lot of software companies out there that don't offer support for older versions of software it's just the way software companies are that's why there's sites like mine x5tuts and Andres unofficial website x5 that offer the users the opportunity to get there projects converted to any version they wish.

regards

jamie
