In short, no.  Once WebSite X5 has generated the source code for a web page it can be thought of simply as HTML5/CSS/JavaScript like any other web page on the net.

However, if you modify a particular page then you will have to remember to re-upload the modified page each time you do an export to your web server in Step 5.  This is because WebSite X5 has no way of knowing which page(s) you may have modified, and is likely to overwrite your modified one with the original (on the server).

But depending on what you want to modify, you may be able to modify it in website x5 without exporting it to your pc, we have various tutorials on x5tuts which might help you achieve what you need.

I fooled the instructions in the tutorial  for  http://www.x5tuts.com/accordion-set-4-v11/ and this was the result - see attached.

Obviously I am missed something. Using version 11
