MP3 files uploads again after editing page and exporting

Why do the MP3 files have to upload again when you make an edit to a page they are within. I have not added new MP3 files, it's the original files that were alredy sitting on the server and the website.
This is very inefficient and time consuming when the files amount to over 500 mb.

Hello Jason,
if you modify the page with the mp3 probably WebSite X5 need to re upload these.
You can try to insert the file .mp3 in different page, entering fewfor pages. You can also try upload manually the file in your server and link in the project with "file on the internet" in link windows. With this method the files will be not exported with the project.
