Upgrading from Version 8 to 10 via 9.  en

Hi,

For ease of reading, I'll give you a bit of background info.

- I have a website (#1), on version 8, on computer A.

- I have multiple sites(#2,#3,#4) on version 9 on computer B.

- I have a computer C, which will replace A, and will be the new host to website #1.

Now, computer A is dying and being replaced by computer C. I want to bring site #1 up to date and moving it from version 8 to 10.

- I am already in the process of updating it to version 9 on computer B, so it will be an easy transfer to 10.

-I want to keep that site on computer B as a backup, and then transfer a copy of it to computer C, which will be open for staff to use and update daily. Computer C will be the primary computer for work on website #1.

As for sites #2,#3 and #4, I would like to keep them in version 9 for the moment, as I wont have the time to work on them now and bring them into version 10. There was a memory loss on this computer, and some work would still need to be done in version 9 before all 3 project would be ready to be upgraded to 10. (Which I do not have to time to do currently).

So what I am asking is, if I pay the €49.99 for the upgrade from evolution 9 to evolution 10, do I lose the use of version 9 for the other sites (#2,#3,#4)?

Also, with an upgrade, does a copy of incromedia version 9 have to be on computer C to then get version 10? It is a totally blank, new machine.

IE: I want version 10 to be installed on computer C, a totally blank machine. Will an upgrade work or will I have to purchase a fresh package for €69.99?

If you buy an upgrade you will lose the licence from where you upgraded from after some time. (you have some time to upgrade and adjust your projects). You can remove V9 in that case.

So if you upgrade v9 to v10 then in the end you will have v10, wich you you are aloud to install on 2 pc's from yourself and you are not aloud to work simultaniosly on both pc's with that version. And you keep V8.

If you buy a full version of v10, you will have v8, v9 and v10.

You can deinstall and install the same lycence (move it from 1 pc to another computer) without any problem.
