Hello Dave,

You will need to contact your hosting server support since it depends on the server. From the error message it seems you are not allowed to use the gmail.com email as sender but to have further informations about it only the hosting server support can help you.

Many thanks!

Hi this has been some time as i have been away i have contacted the host who say its a script problem this is there response.

Below is the responses to my questions from Matt

"The response from the server seems to indicate that their website is trying to send the email as though it is from an googlemail.com address which is not a domain that our email servers are authoritive for so it is being rejected.

This is something that changed in one of the recent updates to cPanel to help prevent spam and the IP being blacklisted. In most circumstances the chance of such an email being delivered is low as it wouldn't match the spf record for the domain either."

I then asked
" within the form script I have seen "mailToOwner" it has two email address ******' (partner not real name)

making the script send over to two separate mail address makes it look suspicious

By taking out the second e-mail address "hotmail" could well sort out the problem"

Response was

" Setting a to address not on the domain is fine but the problem normally comes up when the script tries to forge the From header to a domain which does not sit on the server. So for example there might be a contact form that the user enters their e-mail address into and this tries to send the e-mail to*** from the e-mail address that the user entered which does not sit on our servers so our e-mail servers would not be authoritative for it."

Response

" Yes, if they change the script so that the e-mail is sent from their own domain name then it will be authoritative. If they then just put the e-mail address of the person in the content of the e-mail they will be able to reply to them via that address."

Unfortunately it is the script that is trying to send the e-mail from the person who is filling the web form in L

I am unsure if there is an admin panel for the script or not

Hello Dave,

As it seems it's like I wrote you above they do not allow to use as sender email addresses the ones which are not from the same domain so you will need to use the email of the domain and they want you to send only to one email otherwise it will be blocked.

In this case in the program use as email the one of the domain and set one one address since otherwise your hosting will block the emails sent automatically.

Many thanks!

Hello Dave,

In the email form object did you tick the option "Sender e-mail address" in the Send tab?

Try to deactivate it since this option uses then as sender the one filled in the form on the website and this could be the cause of the issue according to the settings on your hosting server.

Once done proceed to make a complete export and then test it again.

Many thanks!
