Remove video border

I have uploaded a video to the Homepage but it is set in a black border. Is it possible to change border colour or remove it completely?
Also I have my menu horizontally across top but the drop down menus are appearing behind the video.

I haven't uploaded it as yet as I'm completely redesigning the website using version 11.

you can export a site in a test folder of your server so you can send me the URL, or attach a screenshot.
