I think I am going to ask for my money back  en

So, I had paid for Evolution 9 a few years ago, but didnt have the download file.  I ended up getting the demo of 11 pro and built a site, not realizing that it was a different version until I published and it showed as an unregistered.  Not being able to save it back to V9, I just purchased 11 Evolution (2nd purchase now of the product), but my entire site I built wont load because I used the Pro demo.  Too much work to start over, Pro is unaffordable based on what I need.  If you dont have a prompt solution then I will just move on to other software.  Not having an 800 number or a customer support email is just ridiculous.

Hello Andrew,

I will refer your post to Incomedia.

Your purchase of Evolution 11 is covered by a money-back guarantee:

http://www.websitex5.com/en/store.html

30-day Warranty “Happy or your Money Back”

Unfortunately there is no way to open a project built in Professional in any of the lesser editions, as obviously the more basic editions lack support for the advanced features.

Kind regards,

Paul

Perhaps the DEMO versions should state that you cant open in a lesser version. Lots of software allows you to save "back" a version so one would assume this would.  I bought V9 a few years back and used it for a small website... now I just bought 11 Evolution (because Pro is just too much money), but it looks like I will lose the hours of work I have into it in Pro Demo.  Just too much of a pain in the ass in my mind... and NO AVAILABLE customer service.  I regret the recommendations I gave to 4-5 people.  The site I built was supposed to be online TODAY

Andrew, the official web page for the Demo version clearly states that projects compiled using it must be opened in Professional:

http://www.websitex5.com/en/demo-professional.html

You can use your projects created with the Demo version and complete them with WebSite X5 Professional 11

You don't need to start over: export your site created with Demo and import it into WebSite X5 Professional 11.

and NO AVAILABLE customer service.

I must refute this also for the benefit of others reading...  this forum is well-monitored...  indeed, I have answered each of your posts within minutes.

The Incomedia staff will be able to follow-up and process your refund.  I have already requested assistance for you, but if you wish you can open a PRIVATE thread to communicate directly with them concerning this.

I am sorry that WebSite X5 has not met your expectations on this occasion.

Kind regards,

Paul
