Out of memory  en

Since the last update I am getting an 'Out of Memory'  warning when I try to change the Font in Text or Tables.  I move the slider to go up to Arial then part way the warning appears.  It does not happen when using Office software, only with X5.

I have run anti virus scans, anti malware scans, and disabled everything I can.  The analysis from Speccy is that, with X5 running, the Physical Memory available is 1.5GB, and Vitual Memory available is 5.6GB.  Without 5 running it is Virtual 6GB, Physical 2.3GB.

It does not happen when doing other tass in X5, only when changing font.

Exactly the same mistake here, cannot explain where this memory was lacking.

What is your answer, Incomedia?

I try'd No errors changing text in several objects......

Try a full install from the top right pulldown menu -> download.

If it does not help please provide error log or prtscrn.

It could also be a .net framework problem. (https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/108155)

THX !

There is no error number.  Not sure a prtscr is needed.  The wizard is very small, simply says 'Out of memory', with a small OK button at the base.  I am using Win7 Home Premium, so .net should not be an issue.

I have today downloaded (again) v.11.0.7.3.0  and installed.  The problem remains exactly as it was.

I have 4 websites on X5, each has the problem.  It is not the end of the world - I can get what I need by typing directly in the Font selection box - but it is very irritating to say the least.

Hello John,

How many fonts are installed in your computer?

It could depend on the number of fonts installed or on a corrupt font in your computer.

Try to remove some of the recent added and then test it again to see if the same warning appears. Make the tests with a new project.

Please keep me updated.

I have not added any fonts.  I am happy to remove some, but, for other software such as the office suite, there is no issue.  Also there was no issue prior to the last update and no fonts have been addeed since then.  I am loathe to tinker when common sense suggests the tinkering is not likely to benefit.
