All payment possibilities not working in x5 version 12  en

Hi, last week I upgrade from version evo 11 to 12. Asap I upgrade the site http://www.catchthetime.nl and test it, I establish that the payment methods not working anymore. On all the 4 different methods the customer get the answer "unable to send your order" By the way we received the emails, but the bank and paypal not. So this evening I decide to go back to version 11 and now the payment choices are working correctly again.

Hello Leo,

Yes, that's what Stefano is referring to...  all the tests at this URL:

http://www.catchthetime.nl/admin/website_test.php

...including testing each 'E-mail form script type' in turn, and also trying alternative sender/user email addresses.  There are a lot of different permutations to try out to see which one works correctly for your own particular server.

Check for a 'PASS' status on the PHP version installed on your server, etc. also.

Then let Stefano know the results of these tests.

As I follow "http://www.catchthetime.nl/admin" I need a password and username which I don't know. As I tried with the FTP codes it is not possible to enter. With fileZilla I can enter this section and I can see these files also by our provider. Do I need another username and password to enter through website X5?

The username and password which you require are your 'Admin' credentials as specified in Step 4 Advanced Settings > Access Management > Users tab (see the screenshot attached).

If you double-click on 'Admin' as shown in the screenshot then a new window will pop up with your user name and password displayed.  Note that you can change these if you wish, but if you do so then you will need to re-export your project to the web.

Hi Leo.

I kindly ask you to please check that in Step 4 under Databases you set the Mailing script correctly, and coherent with the ones you selected to test under /admin.

If you check that correctly already, please try and use different mailing scripts in order to find a working one for you.

Hi Stefano,

Still not working right with my mobile phone. See screenshot. Also after you touch the sign for the menu it will not appear on the phone. On a tablet of 10,5 inch it will work. I tried all the possible setting of the email.

Hi Leo.

In the test printscreen you sent me, you can see "Failed to instantiate mailing script". That means that the currect configuration (which I remind you, should be the same as the one you put in Step 4 - > Database) is not working as it should.

Please try and find the one that is working right for you.

If you use SMTP script, I remind you that you should set the email to the one of your webhosting, or it won't work.
