Using google fonts throughout website  en

In the past I have had difficulty reliably using google fonts consistently on every page of my websites.  It has always involved adding code via expert mode to the header of each page.  This is a pain and easy to overlook when adding new content.  I recently requested assistance to make my blog use Roboto

... but at the last moment I found where to insert the code as you will see in the post.

But there is an easier way!!!

In step 1, template customisation, simply add html code to the header (it won't be visible) and then ALL pages, including the blog, will automatically inherit that code, even if the header is not visible, as is the case in responsive mode.

You only need insert the code once in your whole site and you can now use google fonts as freely and easily as normal system fonts.

I will assume that few people knew this trick because no-one thought to tell me as I battled to make my site consistent. If this is useful, perhaps incomedia could turn it into a tip?

Have fun with better fonts :-)
