Is it possible to remove the menu separator in the responsive view?

No, not standard in x5, but there are more questions about the menu in responsive mode.
I suggest make an Idea post, maybe Incomedia can incorporate a responsive menu or adjustments to it in future updates.

It seems to have been an oversight and does not look nice.
Seems that I may have to delete the separators until the problem is addressed.

Yes I Agree,
I also can imagine that not all items in the standard menu should be found in the handhand/hamburger menu.
Some do not fit for handheld and it would be very handy if you can control this, just as the seperator.
The more Idea posts about control over the smaller sized menu, the higher change that it will be made. I really think it would be a good asset !
I have a site where you need to consult and fill in a large form, this is very dificult on the handheld, instead of going to the this menu It would be nice if you can just set a message with an advice to use a pc for this or something like that. There are many more....
