ShowBox does not display image.  en

Inside a text object, I insert an image. Then through the link icon, I insert a link for it (another image) as a "file or URL with ShowBox." When I preview it inside the WebSite X5 program, it works normally. But when I export the site to the Internet and then click on the first image from my browser, only a darkened page shows, without the supposed brighter foreground that is the second image. This happens in both the Chrome and Safari browsers.

My url is: http://antonality.com/mega.html

Hi Anton,

remove the Google Analytics code added in Step 4 - Advanced Settings - Expert section - Before opening the HTML tag (see attachement).

Hi Paul, yes that is the second image I am trying to display. Attached is the screenshot of the ShowBox settings as you requested.

Hi lemonsong, removing the Google Analytics code didn't help.

Thank you for the screenshot, Anton.

I'm still puzzling over this one.  So far I have been unable to recreate the problem.  Even stranger is the fact that the page actually works as intended in Internet Explorer (it doesn't work for me in Chrome and Firefox, and is as you describe).

We will ask Incomedia for their comments and advice, so please continue to monitor the thread for their reply (usually within 24/48 hours).  In the meantime perhaps another user will spot the solution!

Hi lemonsong, removing the Google Analytics code didn't help.

I still see the GA code.

This is your problem.

I fixed your page on my PC (see attachement).

Yes indeed Paul, it DOES work in Internet Explorer but not on Chrome or Firefox.

lemonsong, by any chance did you use Internet Explorer to pull up the web page? Do Chrome and Firefox give you the same problem I am having with them? You see, I DID remove the GA code from Step 4 - Advanced Settings as you recommended; I don't know why you still see it...

  • Expert section
  • Before opening the HTML tag

See attachement (UI italian language).

Hi lemonsong, I removed the entire section from <script> to </script> on the before closing the HEAD tag tab. And it worked!

However, does this mean that I will not be able to track my web page visitors via Google Analytics anymore?

That's a stiff price to pay... what do I do from here?

Hi Anton,
the code removed was in wrong place.

Now you can add your "Trackin ID for Google Universal Analytics" in Basic section (Step 4).

I'm sorry for my bad English.
