Crashed project in version website X5 evolution 11

my project in version X5 evolution 11 crashed after I created an intro which I used an mp4 video file. I have tried to use the backup file to restore but I kept getting this message "an error occured while loading the project (there is an error in XML document (0,0).)". Please help.

Hello Chidi,
Open the preferences to see where the projects are stored and then open this folder. Search for the folder with the name of the project you experience the issue and open this folder. Inside this folder there's a folder called library. Open it and inside it rename the file index.xml to old.xml and backup.xml to index.xml and then try to start the project again to see if then it works.

It did not work, the new message "An error occured while loading the project. (The magic number in GZip header is not correct. Mke sure you are passing in a GZip stream.)"

In this case open the backup folder and copy the most recent file with extension .iwprj in the main project folder and then rename project.iwprj to old.iwprj and the backup file to project.iwprj and try again to open it.
Try with every backup file the same to see which one opens if the first should not work.
