Hello Oleg,

Would the Google Translate Object be of any use to you?  You will find it in Step 3 Pages Creation  -  it is listed as an Optional Object under the 'Google' section, accessible from the Objects drop-down list on the far right of the screen (please see the screenshot attached for an illustration)

You can embed this Object into your web page and visitors to your web site will be offered translation of text on the page into the language of their choice.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

thanks for the answer, unfortunately it seems that i was not so clear in what i need, will try again:

It comes one visitor posting a text in my guestbook(the selected website language is set on romanian at this moment), it comes another vistor(this time it opened the english version) and he don't see what the first visitor has posted, how can i do to have these posts available for all my website languages. At the moment my website has 3 languages(3 different projects uploaded)

Thanks,
Oleg

Hi Oleg.

This is actually a very tricky question, as this cannot be solved with the software basic functions alone, but require a little workaround.

Considering the Guestbook is actually a standalone function per each project, one way to solve it would be this.

You could insert the Guestbook in the main english website (for example).

In the other projects, you remove that page, and place a level instead (Step 2).

That level is going to link the menu button in these two projects, to the guestbook page in the english project.

Of course, once you click there, you're then in the English website, and have to move back again to your original website language.

Let me know if you need explanation

Hi Stefano. yes, i understood this option, i also was thinking about it but didn't used as it's not ok to change the website language...

i'm thinking on another option: i saw that there it can be choosen the database where the software saves the posts, would it be possible to have one single database for all languages?

Thanks,
Oleg

Hi Oleg.

Unfortunately the DB is used by other features in WebSiteX5, but not for saving the Guestbook posts, so that cannot be done unfortunately.

As of now, I think the previous idea is still the most viable.

Hope I've been helpful
