I'm having big problems with my gallery...  en

I have recently purchased x5 Evolution 12 - I have been a regular user for years and I have only had a few problems. I am updating a website, giving it a whole new look. Anyway, my idea is to have a very large banner with changing images I have worked on with photoshop. Each one giving the site visitor a headline or a feature of the site. If I load the picture up itself, it comes as a lovely clear big image. When I add thepicture as a gallery image it comes up as a tiny little image with the text hardly readable. I have been to the original template structure and made the page content as wide as can be done and I have then gone through the whole process of adding the image again - the same thing - I have altered the size of the image inside the workspace using the edit feature making it as wide as it will allow and the same thing appears. I have tried saving the image from photoshop in various formats and using other images to see if it can work - still the same - why can I not increase the size of my gallery images? I have given the block in the workspace more and more columns and row and the same thing is always happening - This is not what I want at all! There seems to be even less flexibility with the 12 than the 11. Any help would be appreciate - I have added a screen shot to show my point

you said you altered the size of the image within the work space (I assume within the cell) but did you click the gallery and change the max picture image from with inside the gallery app?

Yes I did all that - chaged it in the cell, in the template everywhere I can think of!

I am just guessing here. I am still waiting for them to answer my database Q for shopping cart. But the only other time that happend to me is when I had the cells spaced out correctly. IE you have 6 cells long, and 4 down, if the cell you are working in is only 2 cells long and 0 down, and you have other objects on the page that took up space then the gallery was much to small for what it needed to be. is there anything else in the cells on the page? If not make the gallery cell the same size as the entire page. That does not work check the size of all your pictures indivdually (just glance over them to make sure you do not have a small one in there) If that still does not work im out. I am sure they will eventually answer your question, and it will be something stupid easy (that always happens to me)

For some really strange reason - after working for three hours to correct things I thought w"I can't think of anything else to do" so I saved it - came out of the programme, restarted the PC ( A brand new one) and when I previewd it - it was perfect! One of those things I guess!! Thanks for your help Lauren, really appreciated it.
