Google Merchant needs HTTPS on the costumer data entry page

Hi, want to use google merchant but have the following problem. Google tests the site for compliance and they say it is obligotary to use HTTPS from the moment you start entering costumer data. So they decline our site as being compliant because in step 2 of the shopping cart we stay on http in stead of https. How do we change this so that we can can use google merchant?

Buy an SSL certificate (they are not expensive), install it on your server (or get your webhost to do this for you), then change your WebSite Address (URL) in Step 1 of WebSite X5 to https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
