Wrong characters in browsers (danish)  en

When publishing my website (www.liv-net.dk) I experience, that when I make changes, including the typical danish characters æ,ø and ø - they are presented with wrong characters when opened in three different browsers. - I have marked Danish as language on website...

exampel:

Reservelægevikar, Patologisk institut,Odense Universitet 1 md
Værnepligtig reservelæge, Randers, Holstebro, Oksbøl 12 md

It must be something witg the ASCII value/translation or what?? - How can I get this fixed?

sincerely - Bent Kristensen

Having been looking around, I've tried different ways of adding a .htaccess file, forcing the browser to use UTF 8 or danish letters, but it dosen't seem to work...

Funny part is, that some of the text, written earlier, and not corrected actually displays correctly with danish characters.. puzzled.

Hello Bent Brun K.,

Can you please tell me on which page exactly I can see the issue?

The text which is not appearing correctl has been written directly in the program or copied from a text editor or website?

Many thanks!
