Surprised with X5 13 professional  en

I just started using version 13 and was suprised to see there is no spell checker (At least, if there is I cannot see it). Web authoring and design software relies heavily on text editing and I just cannot understand how this software does not have a spell check function. I have to copy my content out to word, check the spelling and copy back. Then go back and put all the links back that get lost in the process. This is very inefficient work flow.

I now need to look for alternate software, a shame because generally the web creation cycle worked ok.

The other issue is when you use the SEO optimise toools and get issues like picture file too big. It does not offer a solution (like keep source file size below xxx bytes) AND instead of displaying which images are the problem I get image (8,1) as the indication of the image and I have no idea which this one is?

Another hassle is that when I import a project and use it and then save, the version numbers are like version 1.1, ver 1.1.1, ver 1.1.1.1 once I get to 7 or 8 "1"s I cannot tell them apart. Can't the version inc like 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 ?

Hello David,

It tells you in which row and column the image is located on the page. The first number indicates the row and the second the column.

Many thanks!

Thanks. Would be good in future editions if it listed the name of the image file.

Can we change the version numbering in the program? ie. ver 1.1, 1.2 instead of 1.1.1.1...

Hello David,

Both suggestions will be taken in consideration for future releases of the program.

Unfortunately I am not able to tell you if and when a specific function will be added.

Many thanks!
