Memeber area not working since upgrade to version 13  en

I have a password protected member area on my site. It's worked fine with version 12.

I upgraded to version 13, now when I try to access the member area, I get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 's' (T_STRING), expecting ')' in /homepages/36/d295771741/htdocs/res/x5settings.php on line 14

My server setting area set for php 7.0, thats when I get this error.

I have options for php 5.5 and php 5.6 which I have tried. Using the two 5.X versions, I just get my member page address in the address bar of the browser, but nothing loads.

I have completely deleted and reloaded my site onto the server with no luck.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

What you see on line 14 in this file?

    'sitename' => 'Frank's World',

I just loaded that file in dreamweaver. Shows about 8 errors starting with the above line. In dreamweaver, if I remove the apostrophe in the name, all the errors go away.

I haven't changed anything in the site with the upgrade to v13, Why would this be a problem now and it wasn't before?

I removed the apostrophe in the general settings under website title, re-uploaded, still having the same issue.

Anyone know where website x5 is grabbing the name from that it uses to make tht php files?

Thanks,

It's Step 1 Settings > General > WebSite Title

Try holding down the CTRL key whilst entering the Preview mode in WebSite X5, then re-export the project to the server.

Clear your browser and any network caches before testing afresh.

I tried the CTRL preview, re-uploaded, cleared cache, on the fourth try, it appears to have corrected the problem with the php.

But now I have no control over the members area. You click the members only tab, and it takes you right into the page, doesn't ask for password. Tried it on multiple machines and tablets with the same result.

Just saw the fixes for the update. I removed the dynamic content from my members area, now it seems to be working as it should be.

Thanks Greg! Is if the comments or the dynamic content on the page, it does not require a username and password! I hope they fix it soon!
