Access management problems 13.0.0.14  en

Author: BRIAN B.
Visited 1729, Followers 2, Shared 0

My project, which worked well with V12, will not function properly with locked pages of 13.0.0.14.  The message appears as a http error 500, and says that my website cannot handle the page.  The imported coding was identical to the V12, and I've gone as far as removing the users and group, and trying to re-insert them.  I have also re-downloaded the software and re-installed it.  To see it, try my site   www.peterboroughsrslopitch.org, and try to access either player emails or player rankings.

Thanks for cures.

Brian

Hello Brian,

Your WebSite X5 control panel is also unavailable at the present moment:

http://www.peterboroughsrslopitch.org/admin/

That, combined with the fact that the error message is a '500' leads me to suspect that the PHP installation on your server is misconfigured.  Have a word with your webhost and ask them to verify that PHP is installed and working correctly.  WebSite X5 requires a minimum of PHP version 5.

Kind regards,

Paul

Thanks Paul - I use One.com and sent them a message.  I also got on to the control panel of one.com and set the php version to 7.0 from 5.6   I'll upload the site again in 30 minutes or so, then try again.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 's' (T_STRING), expecting ')' in /customers/f/f/4/peterboroughsrslopitch.org/httpd.www/res/x5settings.php on line 14

After resetting one.com, and requesting the php error message, I got this.  I have no idea why.

That confirms it is definitely a PHP related issue, Brian.  We have had notification of a similar issue from another user.  I'm going to flag this thread for the attention of the Incomedia support team, as I'm beginning to think there may be a bug in the codebase for the PHP scripts in version 13.

Could you please let us know what your WebSite Title is (in Step 1 Settings) for this particular project?

Your patience is appreciated until a reply is received back from Incomedia.  This could take up to 48 hours, excluding weekends.

Peterborough Men's Senior Slo Pitch    is my website title.

This was my One.com response:

The error message showing is related to the script on your php file. Unfortunately, we have limited information regarding the error message as scripting issues are already beyond our support. However, by the looks of the error, there is a syntax or command on your script that is incorrect. You may refer this information to the developer(Websitex5 V13 from Incomedia) of the tool you use to build your website and they should be able to explain how you can fix it

Thanks for your support.

Just for diagnostic purposes could you please temporarily remove the apostrophe from your WebSite Title?

Once done, hold down the CTRL key and enter the Preview mode.  Then exit the preview and upload ALL project files to your server in Step 5 (i.e. not just those recently modified).

Then clear your browser and network caches fully, and test.

Paul: It must be hard to be humble when you and your buddies are such geniuses!!

Thanks so much - it's hard to imagine such a small thing can make such a difference.  It worked as before the upgrade.
