I inported a project from version 12. 2 problems were observed.

1. when I attempted to resize the hight on an image it maintained the aspect ratio so I could not make the image skinney as in version 12.

2. the hamburger menu appears on all sized pages. I had a lefthand menu but now only a hamburger menu.

Can anyone assist?

Barry, for the menu issue, turn off responsive, adjust menu button size and/or space allocated so all the text in each button fits without wrapping and then turn on responsive.

As for the image issue, where are you having an issue? Header? Image Object? Image in text cell?

Is there a link to the existing site which displays as you wish?

I fixed the menu issue by resizing the side menu bar. thank you for the lead.

It is an image object in the header. I have replaced the original logo that I have in version 11. but you can see the new one at www.mncvga.com.au

Barry, if you mean the apparent distortion, check if the box is big enough to accomodate the image. Once it is big enough you can resize by dragging the corner in and this should resize proportionally rather than distort. A similar thing happens with the new text boxes in the header and footer.  You can also use the image edit options to crop the image appropriately.

In all previous versions I was able to fit the image by streaching it and making it narrower. This is not posible in the new version. I can only resize images while maintaning the aspect ratio. I can not change the width of the image only. even if I use the Position menu icon provision. although the Keep Ratio is NOT checked I get  the incorrect result.

Barry, it seems to be a "feature" of WX5 that you can only resize with the correct aspect ratio, the same appears to apply to text boxes. I am sure INCOMEDIA will confirm this in due course.

Hello Barry,

The image object in version 13 is different than the one used in the previous versions and in this one it is not possible to resize the images without keeping the aspect ratio.

Many thanks!

Thank you claudio,

I hope you will reinstate this facility. It does seem strange to have a check box to chech or uncheck "Keep Ratio" that has no effect.

It makes it more flexable for working with images.
