Error when importing from v11 or v12 into version 13  en

Dear Website X5 team,

after installing version 13 I tried to import my projects previously created in version 11 and 12.

In both cases the import doesn't work and is abortet with the following error message (see also attached screenshot) "An error occured while loading the Project (A local file header is corrupt)"

Some more info on that:

  • I use an iwzip file created in version 11 and receive this error, however the same iwzip file is importing into version 12 without problem
  • When create an iwzip file in version 12 it will cause the same error when trying to load in version 13
  • so in short import from 11 to 12 is working well. Import from 11 to 13 or from 12 to 13 isn't working and the mentioned error message pops up, stopping the whole process

So in short the iwzip files are ok in v11 and 12 but would not load in v13 (either directly from v11 or via v12)

I had a lot of trouble with your version 12 which never worked because of wrong table formatting.

Now I bought v13 and I can not even import my previous projects! Please provide a fix - I'm extremely frustrated.

PS: please don't ask me to send you the projects; this isn't possible since they are between 15 and >30GB

Michael, is it possible to provide a link to the existing website in question just in case somebody can identify the component of your header which may be causing the issue with v13 import?

thanks a lot - the trick did its job!

Still strange that the same iwzip file works from v11 to v12, but not to 13.

Anyway, I unzipped and re-zipped all my projects and have them now in version 13.

Unfortunately there seem to be a number of things not working properly e.g.

  • table formatting when using small icons in tables is still not right (creating an enlarged border at the bottom of each table),
  • the map object does not show the google map,
  • the coloured header in text boxes has changed and
  • the gallery object shows a strange symbol in each photo and the navigation buttons do not show (both for 'mouse over' and when marked as 'show always')

I guess I will open separate posts for that or see if others have the same problems.
