Hi,
I think a picture will quickly explain my issue... I have been trying to fix it for hours now but I give up. What I don't understand is the fact that I did a website months ago using websitex5 v12 and I haven't had the issue. When I share this website on facebook, there is text and the right image.
For the website I published this morning (using websitex5 v13), it doesn't work as you can see on the screenshot.
I hope you'll be able to help me :)
Thank you,
Maxime

Maxime, you need to delete or rename index.php from your hosting account. I suspect you can do it from the FTP client built in to WX5, or simply download filezilla (free) and put in login and password details. Facebook is looking for index.php before index.html
It is also possible to change the name of your website project index file to php in WX5, but personally I would only do this if I had other reasons.

Hello,
I must admit I have no idea what you are talking about, it's like if you were talking another language to me :D
I downloaded filezilla and connected to the sftp server. I managed to find the public_html file but then I get confused and I have no idea what to do anymore.
By the way, my host provider is : https://www.a2hosting.com/
Thank you for your time :)
Kind regards,
Maxime
@Maxime: Off topic : Can I get a copy of youre website? I have trouble with the scale, yours looks very good, so I can learn from it. ( Did your make it yourself or is it an existing template?).

Fire up filezilla again, navigate to the public_html directory, look for index.php and simply delete it.
If in doubt and you see 2 index files, delete the older one.
If you now go to your website with your browser your website should appear.
Hello Maxime,
I manuallz updated the cache used on Facebook on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug since it wasshowing and old cache and it'swhy it was notusing the image you added.
Facebook is updating regularly the cache and they if you make an update, ifyou want to show it immediately you need to update it manually by searching on the developer tool your website and then click to scrape the URL.
Many thanks!
