I was looking on google, tag manager and more and it says I do not have a sitemap because it is in html format. So I check the format of the sitemap and it does not give the option of .xml
Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.
Does this matter? can I change it?

You do not have to change anything, so you can find the xml file:
http://www.publichardware.com/sitemap.xml
This can be adjusted in the project, read "sitemap xml" from the help.

My mistake, I meant to put it on www.carolina-classics.com I created an xml at https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/details-carolina-classics.12561583.html I went to add it to my file when I saw there was an xlm file already there. when I check the two the one from sitemaps had a lot more text.
A) did the sitemap.xml come from website5? or from prestashop? (located at www.carolina-classics.com/carolina)
B) I still need to imput keywords/metatags should I wait till I am done with that to worry about xml?
Hello Lauren,
The file sitemap.xml is created by WebSite X5. You can submit it also now and then add the keywords when you want and publish it again. The search engines will crawl your website as soon as there are any updates.
Many thanks!
