I've copy all files of my website to another location on my harddisk. Now I cann't find my template (.iwzip file) on both places.

After that I have deleted the copied files and re-install the program, without result.

Hello Mart V.

You only get an iwzip file if you  make a backup with step 5 copy project.

Normaly the files for the project are in a folder with the same name as your project, In the folder you will find an iwprj file.

Set in the startup, your preference folder to the folder that contains the iwprj file, then you should be able to open your project again.

Then copy the project in step5 with export. Set the preference location back. Imoprt the exported project and all should be ok again.

I see with explorer in the preference folder only a file named: project.iwprj.

I presume that my template is "deleted".

Let me explain more clearly.

I have copied all folders en files of my website to another location on my harddisk.

Since then is my template invisible after "start'.

Then I have deleted all copied folders and files.

In explorer I do see the file project.iwprj on the original location.

The preference location is set well, but I don't see my project.

What do I wrong?

Hello Mart,

The templates are not stored in the project folder. It is never a good idea to move manually the files. Set it back on the original folder and then export the project with the option in step 5 "export the project" and then change the directory of the projects and import the project.

In this way you wiwll have all the content in the correct folder.

Many thanks!

Oké, I understand, but the problem is now how can I load my project. On the page after "start" (choose project) is my template/project invisible.

Mart,

If the preference folder is set correct you should see your project.

The preference folder should point to the folder where the iwprj file is in. So not to the folder where the iwprj file is but the one, one level higher, so the folder where the project file is kept in. It could well be that that folder name is project  (or the name of the project). Then it must work.

Let me know.

Mooi dat het werkt.

Maak voor de zekerheid altijd een backup met stap5 export project en bewaar die op een ander medium dan je pc. (usb stick ofzo)

En vervang die regelmatig, helemaal als je veel veranderd hebt bv......
