405 HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed (using a e-mailform)
Author: Mart V.In my website Praktijkcollegetilburg.nl (WX5-11) I will use a emailform. It seems that all is oke.
When I fill in the form and send the form, I receive the error 405.
I asked the host and he answered with a simple example of a emailform.
<FORM METHOD ="post" ACTION="https://www.xs4all.nl/cgi-bin/mail-a-form">
<P>Van (e-mailadres): <INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="from"><BR>
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="subject" VALUE="Formulier verstuurd vanaf paginanaam">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="to" VALUE="***">
When I compare this with the html of WX5 emailform:
<formid="imObjectForm_1"action="imemail/imEmailForm_06cjvez1.php"method="post"enctype="multipart/form-data"
In the attachment you find more html-info.
How to solve this problem?
Thank you for answering.
Hello Mart,
Does your hosting has PHP support?
From the suggestion of your hosting it seems they want you to use a cgi mail function but the program uses PHP to send emails from the website.
Many thanks!

Hello Claudio
My host answered:
"Your website gives no PHP support, because you have a Windows Website.
If you want to use PHP in your website you should change the website to Unix."
???
Is this true?
Hello Mart,
generally php is supported on linux hosting but many windows hostings provide also PHP support.
If you have the possibility to change your hosting to linux, in case you don't need functionalities on the hosting available only on a windows server, on your current hosting I would suggest to do it since otherwise you will not be able to use all the functionalities like as example sending emails from the website.
Many thanks!

Thank you for your answers Claudio.
I consider to change from host.
'WebsiteX5' recomment 'One.com'.
I suppose that all functionalities in 'WebsiteX5' are available in 'One.com'.
Many thanks!
Hello Mart,
Yes on one.com all the functions of the website made with the program will work correctly.
Many thanks!
