Shopping Cart Checkout not easy to understand  en

I noticed that when customers checkout their orders on our website, they forget to complete the paypal or credit card payment step. The reason is because, once the customer fills out the form, select the payment and place the order, the website responds to the customer with an order number and states that the order is completed. At this point the order is not completed because they did not fill out the payment part.

At the bottom of confirmation message there is a "BUY BUTTON" that they are supposed to press, to go to the payments getways, but most of the people miss it. Can I move the payment button before the confirmation page, or what do I need to do so that the customer does not miss the payment. It is very unprofessional to call everyone back and ask for payments, it should be seamless.

Please help!

Thank yuo,

Joe

Hello;

I have the same problem and see the same shortcome in the process handling. Normally the pay button should come first and once processed, the program should send the confirmation (an order confirmation is not a payment received confirmation). That´s the way I know it from all the shops I used as a customer. Is it really not possible to change the sequence? I know that I always get re-directed to the shop after payment.

If the customer don´t pay, I need no order, unless I`m working with a pay later option. I think it is very likely that customer just forget to pay and then closed the browser already. Then there is the order confirmation looking like all is fine. Even customer who might be aware that they did not pay could think that there is a system bug and waiting for the goods.

BTW: Joe mentioned that there is a Buy Button on the order confirmation e-mail. I don´t have it. How to make that setting? Can you please advise?

Many thanks, Walt

Hello Walt,

it's not posssible change the process of the ecommerce, you can create a new topci in the idea section.

The button in the email is created for the case the user close browser or in case the user lost the order.
