In 2012 I made a website with a X5 program, http://www.vimeav.nl.

The logo on the main page is a transparent gif. The video's at , for intstance http://www.vimeav.nl/1---presentatie.html are youtube video's.

This all works fine.

Now I make this website from scratch, with same pictures and video's and nothing works.

The transparent picture looks good in the preview but blurred live.

The video's look good in preview, but nothing when live.

What's going on?

Hello Rob,

Can you please upload the project made with the new version online also on a subfolder and then write me here the URL so I can see why it is not appearing correctly?

Many thanks!

UrL : demo site

The video look okay, now.  (not on my pc with any webbrowser)

The blurred left picture is a tranparent of the right picture, the same as in the "old" page.

Hello Rob,

I see the video correctly in the webbrowser. Probably you have a setting on your browsr which is not making it work.

About the trasparent gif file I informed the developers about it.

Many thanks!

Nice to inform the developers, but I want to update my website.

So I need the "old" functionality with the transparent gif file.

Rob, whilst you await Claudio's return, have you considered saving the transparent gif as a PNG, I have found these continue to work as expected.

The png file works perfect, thanks.

THe problem was the png format from ms paint, which isn't transparent.

I now use photofiltre and the png file remains transparent.

So I use now a png instead of a .gif, makes no difference for me.

Thanks for the answer, I will continue using X5 now.
