Banner image not displaying on ipad

In Responsive, Template Customisation, Template Structure - I have set up header images for 960, 720 and 480. screen sizes.
These images appear correctly in Preview for the various screen sizes.
When I upload to the web - the header image only appears on Desktop. On iPad and mobile 'phone the image does not appear - the banner it is just blank. I am clearly doing something wrong - but can't figure out what it is. Help please.

Malcolm, could you post a link to your site, and are these images gif, png or jpeg?

Not sure what I have done...!!!... but the banner and text now show on correctly on 960, 720 and 480px.
I put the image (jpeg) on the Template Structure and text on Header and Footer Content for each of the above screen sizes. Hope this is the best / right way of doing it.

The above approach does not appear to display correctly on a mobile phone. Maybe I need the Professional version - or there is some other way of doing it in Evolution 13.

Malcolm, it appears you have placed a picture in the header in step 2 customisation, template structure. I have found that by default WX5 turns all background pictures off in mobile view (save bandwidth?). You can go to template structure, select mobile resolution and place your picture.
Professional behaves the same.
