Webx5 Professional 13 crashes or freezes after update installed

After I installed the latest update, I tried to open an existing project. The program stalled while trying to open project. Tried to open one of the backups and received error while openning message.

did that and the instead of "freezing" at 85% load dropped to 55% then sut down to try that and after restart froze at 33%
And the backup dooes also still not work? If not do you have a download of the older version, you could try to see if that helps.

Please send me the folder containing the project which can be found by opening the preferences in the program to see where the projects are stored.
In this folder delete the folders preview and upload and then zip the entire folder and then use the function on http://www.wetransfer.com to generate a link and write me here the link to download it.

My business website cannot be accessed anymore with Incomedia's flagship product. I have been a customer for years and am becoming very frustrated with the level of service.
Hard to believe there is not a copy before the upgrade. The program will not even open up a backup. Totally unacceptable.
Please pass my concerns along.

You can try changing in the properties of X5 application "Compatibily mode; Run this program in compatibility for Windows 7"
I do that and I can load my bundle, I see this tip's in another post.

Thank you for responding. I tried running in compatibility mode for windows 7 and the program still freezes when unlocking the project. I tried openning backups and received error in opening message.
FYI it is 64 Bit version.
Ran trobleshooting test and X5 13 Professional was found to be incompatible (see attached)

Hello Paul,
Try please to repair the .NET Frameworks by following these steps:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.6 and then click ok.
Once done restart the computer and then close all the active programs, also the ones in background, and then try again to open the project.
Please keep me updated.

I installed older version of x5 Professional 13 and after I tried to import the project I got message, that it was created with newer version and update is needed. So this method didn't solve my problem (I can't export updates to server, app freezes at various %).

The download labeled Evo is the pro version but it seems to be corrupted.
The files should be correct now. But I wonder if these help, probably with a backup project from x5 from previous version.

I downloaded and installed the older pro-version and it loads and saves fine.
Would you please pass along my disappointment of the lack of communication from Incomedia. Obviously they were aware of the problem.

I think they will keep an close eye on this topic, and there are more posts where they are looking in similair problems.
Just keep in mind that it is not easy, cause of the many combinitions of all hard and software and combinations and options in x5, to find the answer.
I know they not always react fast, but I also know they are working hard to get things done, but again sometime it takes time and as a customer it's never fast enough.
I always -before upgrade wait a wile and check the changelog to see if updates are needed for my project(s)
If they do I make a backup of the project. I download the full versions (in case for the next update) because the older ones are not available anymore when the update is there. Then I do the update. This way I can always go back.
This is not because Incomedia makes bad upgrades, but it is because it's close to impossible to take in account all combinations. And there can always come something strange out of an update. They are tested and they go in beta test as well....
But Mostly it goes well......
One thing would be nice if Incomedia made the previous version also full downloadable in your own profile.
