once again I got the message there is an error in XML document (0 0 )- tried the instruction of the previous post but no result. with my surprise the backup folder is empty - how to back up automatically?

Sorry to hear that this happend again.
Next to the save button on top you can set the backup options.
It is always importand to create a backup in step5 -backup project- and save it on another medium, refresh that after making a lot of changes or multiple smaller updates.
At the start of project a ussually do this more often, I leave a usb stick in and export from time also with step 5 export project. It's not much trouble and it can save so much time and frustration.
