Author: Ivan M.I m creating new website and I placed one big picture in png format to one site, later on I have changed it for a new picture, but when I export the website to save it to HDD, the old picture is still there. So I have deleted the replacing file so now in overview no picture appears in that section, but still when I export the websites the png picture is present - I don t know how to fix it? Any idea?
Similar problem was with gallery pictures, I had too big pictures so I reduced the quality and sizes, but when I exported the program all pictures (big and small) have been saved to the back up. I solved this with removing bigger files to other directory.
I have created galleries 3 in the row and 2 rows (it means 6 galleries) but I wanted to get them closer together, but this is another issue I cannot overcome.
Last thing what I have no idea how to solve - Anchor - I m doing one page website and each menu titel (I mean HOME, PRODUCTS, GALLERY, CONTACTS) I have directed to anchor, but when I click on menu the page is just openening itself instead of getting to anchor position. I set up anchor with the name, when I try to direct the menu titel to specific anchor - this appears in offer, so I don t know why it is not working.

Try to export project and import the exported project.
Don't use big images, x5 reduces them for internet so reducing them before using it in x5 saves time. Big pictures also take up loading time and uploading time. Try to stay close to 1000px for most pictures -max-.
with style button you can set objects closer to eachother.
use in the menu for 1 page sites new level, use properties button ond set ther in the link option the new level folder to the anchor.
Don't forget to use the help inside x5, it's very good.

Ivan, with the single page anchor you need to create a new level with "the page name", then in properties, set it to link to home page, anchor name. You can remove the old single pages (although if it is an existing site being recreated as a single page, I usually leave the original page so anyone with saved bookmarks can find the page and when time permits I add a redirect back to the home page anchor point).

thanks for Your advises. My website after zipping has more than 55 MB so it is pretty impossible by limit 1024 KB to send it - any idea how can we do that? I can place it on my hosting.
Well level of the page name I didn t try. So I will try but I m not really sure in this procedure.
Still there is an unsolved issue with the galleries.
I found maybe error - In text editor is very strange, when You move the cursor to the right (coupke of spaces) and press center function the cursor will stop in the middle between current position of the cursor and the right margin - it means it doesn t end up in the center of the line and by pressing align text to the left, cursor returns not the the left margin, but just to the its last position. I don t know if this is OK, but in MS WORD and other programs means center really center.

Anchors I fixed successfully - thank You very much for Your help. Pictures I resized, but still not big deal with the distances between 2 gallery preview pictures. What is considered as good size website?

You ask a lot of questions it's a bit difficult to find out what you are looking for at this moment.

I am not sure what you mean... you can send your websito to your hosting company in step5, as I already mentioned keep pictures no bigger then 1000px try using png files, this saves time and space,
What you mean by 1024 I don't know 55Mb is not strange.
2 text edittor is not the same as in word, you can't compare them and spaces are differntly handled on websites then in word, again you can't compare them, you wish the text of line in the middle then set use the center option. It will from there work it'w to both sides.
3. A good size for your website?
What do you mean your 55 MB or the width of webpage ? Your size is whatever you put in it, the more pictures films and files and text the bigger. There is no rule for the size. unless uploading starts taking hours....
4. distance between gallery preview?
Set it in the thumpnails TAB, I think this is what you mean, or do you mean the distance between 2 galery objects? This can be set with the style button.
