Allow BLOG post by client without X5 software. Will it happen??

While I was looking to purchase software a few weeks back that allowed blogs, it never occured to me that this feature wouldn't exist. How can the website creator always be the blogger? I've located a few post throughout the site pertaining to this issue, the most recent being a few years back, and incomedia gave no definite answer so:
Are there any plans to add feature to allow client blog post without access to X5 software?

I've passed your post to our developers, so they would be able to read it and to evaluate what can be added in future versions of the software.

Unfortunatly that is the same 'no definite answer' reply I read on post from 2 years back.
I guess the developers haven't deemed it necessary or possibly it can't be done.
