Add Extra Options to Products

It would be great if each product could have more than 1 option and sub-option. If you could add this feature, the online store would work well for restaurants. For instance...if a dish comes with potato and a vegetable, you could perfrom the setup below...
Product = Steak
Option 1 = "Soup" with no sub-options OR "Salad" with sub-options of "ranch", "bleu cheese", "honey mustard"
Option 2 = Seasoned Fries OR "Sweet Potato Fries" with no sub-options
Are there plans to upgrade the shopping cart in future releases?
