Dynamic content text editor unresponsive in IE11 and Firefox  en

Working online in a published page.

In particular, although the text formatting tools are working, the text alignment tools are not. Sometimes when I highlight text or a picture I want to realign, two of the alignment buttons light up in yellow, sometimes just one (?). When I click them nothing happens.

In Chrome and Slimjet, everything works.

The above was tried in Win 7.

Now tried in Win 10 (in a separate partition on on the same computer), same problem, in both IE and Edge.

Hello Donald,

I noticed the issue happens only in the first part of the text. Did you typed this text or you pasted it after copying from another text editor?

Many thanks!

Hi Claudio,

I typed the heading NEWS and inserted the little golf ball.  The body of text below was copied from a web site into Notepad to strip out as much formatting as possible, then from Notepad into the dynamic text editor.

For me, the issue is happening with all the text, including the parts you added. Since my last post I have tried it using a completely different computer (Win 7, IE11) and the issue is there also.

Thanks,
Donald

Hi Claudio,

I've been checking the situation again as you will see when you log on.

As you will also see, I'm afraid there's another issue.

Thanks,
Donald

Hello Donald,

I tested it too in IE11 and Edge and the alignment works correctly as you can see on the page and also the undo/redo buttons for the last changes you made before saving.

In any case I would suggest to not use IE11 since it is an old version of the browser which has not been updated since longer time and can in any case have issues which have neever been solved by microsoft.

Many thanks!
