Problems with transferring v10 project to v13

I recently purchased v13 (previously using v10). Exported the .iwzip & .iwtpl files from v10, imported both into v13. The body text is readable but no images are seen, in addition the header & footer regions on the home page appear to be graphics, not text; the menu buttons only appear as three parallel lines.
The v10 end result is visible on www.osahg.org.uk
The project file appears to be be too big to attach below (60Mb) , but the .iwtpl is attached

Text in the header and footer sections will automatically be turned into images. The simplest way to fix this is place a text box over the text image, recreate the text then remove the text image. This is because V13 uses "new techniques" to maintain real text in headers and footer (therefore searchable), in V12 and earlier all text in headers and footers was simply an image.
The menu buttons as 3 parallel lines (toaster menu) usually means your existing menu won't fit in the available space, if you make the menu items smaller or allow more room for the menu items in the template they should appear and then you can tweek the result. When I am doing this type of upgrade I set the site to non-responsive. When I get it right I again turn on responsive and play with the headers/footers and layout for the various resolutions.
I am surprised your existing template did not successfully come in with the import from iwzip (I have never used or played with the iwtpl), but if all else fails, the components of your old template are in the style directory on your website or in the source directory in your V10 project directory on your PC.
The image on your home page did not come in because flash is no longer supported in V13, you will need to use one of the new image or gallery options.
Hope that helps a little.
