Want to install a 2nd copy of Evolution 13 on my laptop  en

I've seen the following statement about placing a 2nd copy of Website X5 Evolution 13 on my laptop having already placed it on my desktop.

To install the software on the second PC, you simply have to launch the installation again and do the registration process again, inserting the same email address used for the first installation.

I've tried doing the above, providing the email address, password and product key when required, but the software hangs when trying to load its libraries.

Please let me know how to overcome the problem.

Sorry, but I should also add that I've tried several times to do a re-install. Same result every time.

I do not know what is meant by 'Category does not exist'.

Can I assume you have successfully installed WX5 on the laptop?

If so, you could try putting your laptop into flight mode or temporarily turn off networking.

This sounds suspiciously like the problems experienced by users in this post.

They ultimately solved their problems by turning off, or adding exceptions to their 3rd party firewalls.

Esahc,

I've tried your suggestion, but no joy.

However, the version I've 'installed', but which doesn't work on my laptop is Ver 13.0.0.13.

Now that is a copy of the original file I received to install on my desktop months ago.

That version on my desktop has moved on to Ver 13.1.0.5.

So I'm thinking I could really do with a copy of the latest Ver of WX5 Evolution 13 to install on my laptop.

Do you know how I go about getting that ?

Mike.

Esahc (and anyone else out there interested),

Problem SOLVED  !!!

When I went into my Incomedia account, I found that I could download Ver 13.1.0.5 onto my laptop.

So I uninstalled Ver 13.0.0.13, then installed the later version.

All is now OK !!!

Thanks for you help.

Mike.
