Problem with image-zoom - wrong image on site  en

I have a problem with the image-zoom.

You can see it here : http://www.energifremtiden.dk/c4d/texturen.html

I have had other images in the zoom . I deleted them all, and inserted some new.

Then - one of the images was "an old one" - only on the site - the preview was OK.

I then tried to CTRL+preview and new upload.

This made the thumbnail to be the right image BUT the image itself is still the wrong image.

I have only 9 images so it was easy to see, but how can we be sure that the system does what it should ?

If you have many images or you have many items in your shop - how can we be sure that the system does what we want it to, and not just something random ?

Is there a way to be quite sure that what you do and what you see in the preview ALWAYS is what you get on your site ?

Kind regards

John S.

Forget about this - I renamed the image and inserted it again an did a ctrl+review and uploaded and now it is OK.

It was probably because the image had the same bame ( number ) as a previous image in the list.

But the system should be able to handle this without being forced to rename - right ?

Kind regards

Hello John,

Probably the browser loaded the image which was kept in the cache and you saw the old image. Try always to clear the browser cache to test if then it appears correctly.

Many thanks!

Hello Claudio

I DID clear the cache - F5 and CTRL+F5.

It was first when I renamed, that the image was correct.

I don't know if it could be something else - maybe I never find out.

Kind regards

Hello John,

Should it happen again please check in this case on the hosting if perhaps the writing permissions of the files are changed which would not allow to replace the image on the hosting.

Many thanks!
