Opening message, difference between home.php and index.php

I clicked not to display the opening page message, but the opening page message still comes up, and the viewer is directed to the home.php page which is not updated to the latest update. When I go to one of the other pages and from there click back to START I come to the updated front page named index.php
How can I change it?

Maybe it's best to start from scratch on your webserver, so that it is clean and holds only the last files.
( I do this also from time to time)
Remove all files from webserver and do full upload. (use buttons in x5 on top, or your personal panel from host)
Then when visiting your site, press f5 in your browser to also clear the memory of pc/browser.

You need to delete the file index.html on your hosting space since your hosting is loading this page and once done clear the browser cache and then test it again.
