Need wider menu buttons but there seems to be a limit  en

I have a horizontal menu which is 1200 wide, with just 3 buttons. Horizontal margin 0, distance between buttons 50. Why can't I make the buttons more than 320 wide?

(The buttons are 55 deep. Reducing the distance between them to 0 makes no difference.)

Are you displaying your page at full screen?

. . .  and is you monitor at least 1200px wide?

(can you provide a link to your site?)

The short answer is, as far as I know this should fit without invoking the toaster menu unless the text will not fit in one line (try reducing the point size in the menu text).

(Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong)

Screen is 1920px wide and page is displayed full screen.

Altering the text (point size or amount of text) makes no difference. If I increase the amount of text beyond the 320px limit it drops into a second line and the button remains 320px wide, though deeper.

I tried removing two of the pages, which leaves just a single button, and the programme still won't make the button more than 320px wide. If I enter more than 320 in the Main Menu page it reverts to 320 when refreshed.

Can you put 120px between the center and outside buttons to give you the 1200px?

Or insert a full width row with three columns and links to your pages. You could do the same within the header so it would be on all pages.

No, as well as limiting button width to 320 px, the programme also appears to limit distance between buttons to 50px. In any case that's not what I want to do, I want to make the buttons wider than 320px.

I have also set the menu to always visible in Page Scroll Options and I can't do that with the header or a row. I believe there's a way to prevent the header from scrolling but it takes up too much screen space.

Basically I'm looking for a fix, not a work around.

Hello Donald,

these limits are set in the program and these cannot be changed at the moment.

I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.

Many thanks!
