How to remove hamburgermenu

Have read the posts how this 'Hamburger Icon' automatically appears and have tried the suggestions but cannot make this icon disappear. I was to be reimbursed by my society but as their v12 would not update to v13 and won't in v14 either, guess what? I am obviously missing something. The posts make it sound all so simple; obviously, I am even more 'simple'! I wiped a number of menu items; I reduced the text size (I thought?); I widened the space for the menu but still no luck. I cannot figure what I am doing wrong. They like what they have and don't want to do a complete re-write. We have parted company over a different issue but my pride wants me to solve this problem anyway .....

I also had a problem with the side menu.
In V14 in the design of the menu it was completely to see, in the preview only Hamburgers. I then gave it in the height and width many more space than needed in the program. Suddenly it worked. So always try with oversize and then slowly shrink again step by step.
Viv, since Brian's problem has been resolved can I recommend you open a new post so we can work through your problem?
From your above post I assume you wish to resolve the issue in V12.
Can you upload the site, or provide a link to the online site so we can look at the issue? If you cannot provde such a link, perhaps a screen shot of the problem might help.

@ Essahc:: It's v14 evo.
Try to make the menu object itself big enough. v14 has no space anymore in the header you need to check the object itself.
