Can i start a page or template from scratch ? If so, how ?  en

After messing with this software for several weeks i still have not found out how to do what i can do with any other software, namely starting from scratch, from a blank screen (or page).  I have experimented with about a dozen different templates, and even on the most simple one, after deleting all deletable objects i am still left with some whose properties (size, position, shape, fuction etc) i can not control.  Not only that, even when i try to overwrite these objects they restrict visibility and position of the newly created ones.  The attached file may help to illustrate.

The top part is a preview, the bottom the design view.  As can be seen the pale yellow object underlying the one i created on top of it, restricts the visibility of my own object in preview; essentially making the design process into a guessing game.  How can i get rid of it ?  Or is it really not possible to start from a blank page ?

Another question i have concerns how to retrieve previously asked questions and their potential answers.  Three times before i have posed qustions here, but the only time i reaped the benefit of the answers was when i left the browser tab on which i asked open for the rest of the day and returned to it later.  Is there not a better way ?

Thanks, René

It is possible to choose an empty template with minimum predesigned layout. For your second question, if you click on your name in the top right green spot from the helpcenter page and then choose my profile it will show all messages you have answered to or posted.

Thanks E.G.  The second reply is helpful, but the first seems to imply that it is in fact impossible to start from a blank page.  Is that correct ?

That is correct. Even the 'empty' template has a header and footer defined, but it is possible for both to make the height 0.

Thanks again. E.G.  Even though i do not want to get rid of either i would like to understand how to do that.  What i really would like to do is to eliminate, or else modify the size of, that pale yellow object occupying the header in my example.

Hello René Milan,

Go to step 2 - Template structure and then remove the the background color or image set in the header section so it will no longer appear.

There you can also change size of the header like also of any other section of the template.

Many thanks!
