Can I Use V14 Shopping Cart Object With HTML Extension?

Hi,
I have an online webshop with shopping cart made with V12 with the extention .html for the product pages. I was about to move the website over to V14 when I noticed V14 requires me to make the extension .php for the product pages.
Is this a requirement with V14? Can I use the .html extension with V14 for the product catalogue and if so, how?

Hello Nigel,
The php extension is only required in case you use the Available Quantity option since this information can only be retrieved with PHP code. On all the other cases it is not necessary to have the PHP extension.

Ok, thanks Claudio. I'm not sure why it was forcing me to change to .php as I don't use the Available Quantity option. I'll have another go.
